Alpine Meadows
Originally constructed in 1964, this 3 story family ski cabin had been the victim of a poorly designed retaining wall and parking bridge as well as being in a prime avalanche zone. The result involved the structure being "nudged" over and down the embankment. The solution; shore up the existing structure and design a series of new environmentally responsible structures behind it, which included a 2 car garage, 2 master suites, recreation room and a reconfiguring of the existing living space.
